Hi! Have the same task as you only with Russian adults. Did you find any helpful course book or anything on this topic that could help? Please share if you have got something.

  • From Shovan, Tue, 8 Jul 2014 8:06 am in Proper Nouns

The correct would be French coast.

  • From Harum, Mon, 9 Jun 2014 1:12 pm in Difference between Past Perfect and Past Perfect Continuous

I think that sentence uses past perfect because the event started in the past and ended in the past too. Meanwhile, in present perfect continuous tense, the events started in the past and continue in the present, for example: I've been working on this task since six o'clock this morning (= and I still haven't finished it).

  • From BTAust, Mon, 12 May 2014 0:32 am in Lesson Plan

Hi there,  I'm trying to find a Grammar lesson plan for teenagers and adults.  Would love the help ..... I'm located in Melbourne, Australia

  • posted Anonymously, Fri, 9 May 2014 10:29 am in The importance of teaching material

They are important since they are such a time-saver.  Having to create one or two lessons from thin air is no problem but if you are doing a lot of teaching you'll soon have no life at all if you re-invent the wheel from scratch at every lesson.

  • From Citykidsenglish, Sat, 5 Apr 2014 12:10 pm in Ultra shy:/

I know it can be tough teaching shy students, I have a lot of them too. One of my students was so quiet and seemed to have no interests. But it is important to not give up on shy students. Keep trying new methods to see if she reacts well to any. Give her a lot of encouragement. Try to adapt any materials to suit her hobbies.

  • From Citykidsenglish, Sat, 5 Apr 2014 12:03 pm in Teaching small classes,

I always find that if my students are having fun then I have fun too. Try looking for new fun toys that you can use in the lesson. They don't have to be expensive. I have found some really good toys in the 100 yen shop.

  • From Expat13, Mon, 14 Oct 2013 1:46 am in Omission of the

I believe, in this case, the writer of this sentence is writing how we speak, not with proper grammar. When I read the phrase, it sounds hypothetical (if/possibility). There is no need for a definite article since there is the 'possibility' for any and all employees and any and all employers to apply the theory.

  • From Scotade, Tue, 10 Sep 2013 2:00 pm in Mixed conditional

I think the answer to this is yes!
