This reading is all about obesity, a subject which has become a major political and world health issue in recent times, and therefore something which we feel is worth discussing in class. However, body weight is highly sensitive and personal for many people, so we would advise teachers to approach this reading sensitively and not to attempt it with students they don't know or in a class in which it might too sensitive an issue.
