Skills: Reading skills including understanding vocabulary in context. Follow on activities include selecting information from the text to support their views for a writing task.

Plastic: Upper intermediate

Skills: Reading skills including understanding the writer's intention and attitude, plus giving students confidence when they don't completely understand a text . Speaking activities include deciding how much they agree with the writer.
