  • Thanks for the reply. I meant if there's any other course you have that could be used to follow-up Absolute Beginners since 20 units go so fast.

  • Hello fercaamauy,

Sorry for the confusion. If you wish to use the resources on our site, after Absolute beginners we would recommend any of our resources aimed at 'Elementary' level students. Which ones you use would depend on your class and the topic/language point being taught.

In order to find appropriate materials, we recommend you do a refined search. This can be done by clicking on 'Search by category' (underneath the search bar) and then clicking on the relevant filters below 'Refine by' on the right side of the screen.

If we can help you further, do let us know.

    Best wishes,

    The onestopenglish team

  • Hi, I love this program. What would be a follow-up program after Absolute Beginners?

  • Hello fercaamauy,

Thank you for your comment, we are really pleased you love these resources. Unfortunately, at this time we have no plans to add follow-up to this series. However, if we get many more requests this is something we may reconsider.

    Best wishes,

  • Hello RalphH,

We are glad you are impressed with the Absolute Beginners programme and are sorry that you are having trouble accessing the last three audio files. However, they appear to be working fine at our end. Are you trying to access it on a Mac by any chance? If so, the following advice may help:

To use the audio files on a Mac you will need to use one of two browsers: either Chrome or Safari.
With Safari, right-click on the audio and select 'download linked file as...' then save the audio file to your desktop and it will play through iTunes.
With Chrome, you can left-click on the audio file and it will play directly.

Please let us know if you are still having difficulty.

    Best wishes,

    The onestopenglish team

  • I am much impressed by the Absolute Beginners programme by Frances Marnie. Sadly the audio files for units 18, 19 and 20 not seem to have content; appearing as 3Kb html files. I had no problems with downloading any of the other audio files. I would much appreciate a check on this so that I cam=n make use of the entire programme
