  • I've used TNB and SiB about 20 times now - both in class and teaching 1-1 or 1-2 at home. They're brilliant and the students love 'em. Just a couple of hopefully helpful comments re TNB Ch. 1 -

    - No.5 of Listening Activity 1: the headline is not referred to in Track 1 (the only track we've heard at this point) but in Track 2; and,

    - In Listening Activity 2, I think No.8 should be 'garden' and No. 10, 'wood'.

  • Brilliant, I don't have too many upper-intermediate students, so this level is just what I need in readers. Thank you.

  • Hi George,

Hah yes we've made it a mystery indeed, sorry about that! The level is intermediate although we think you could probably use it with upper intermediate students too. We've changed the information on the page to reflect that.

  • Hi Jools,

Excellent! Yes, chapter 2 will be published this Thursday (22nd Jan 2015), chapter 3 will be 3rd February and chapter 4 19th February.

Then after that (date tbc) we'll start on 'The second stain' which is the next Sherlock story in the series.
