Question time: wh- questions
A card game at elementary level to practise wh- questions and answers.
Level: Elementary
Time needed: 15-20 minutes
Summary: The first part of this activity is an accuracy-based pairwork matching activity, practising the correct use of auxiliary verbs in wh- questions. The second part is a communicative mingling activity which will provide fluency practice in using wh- questions.

I like the fact that the activity doesn't stop on the usage of the language but also gives practice on the use. By the way, all of Jill Hadfield materials have the same quality as shown here. I highly recommend her resource books for teachers such as Beginners Communication Games, Intermediate Communication Games and Advanced Communication Games. I have all three and they are worth their weight in gold.

This is exactly what I needed to get my students using the correct form of BE and I can expand it easily for different levels. Simple, elegant and easy to engage students with.
