  • Hi sunnicron,

You're very welcome! It sounds like you have a challenging but rewarding (I hope) class.

  • Thanks for this set of absolute beginners. I'm teaching Junior High School age in Japan, they are in special needs class so they don't get regular English curriculum and I'm trying to help them learn. They aren't absolute beginners, but low level learners, and they still feel awkward to write using the Roman script.

  • Dear Susie,

Apologies for that! It wasn't a test at all but an error on our part. I've changed Jim to Joe so I hope you can use it with your next set of students.

  • I like these units, but it's now very confusing for my students - in the last unit, 10, suddenly the man's name changed from Joe to Jim. Is this a test for them?
