A handy activity to revise previous spelling errors.

Procedure

Keep a record of perennial spelling difficulties members of your class have. Present them with an array of correct and incorrect versions, and ask them to judge which are OK and which not. The examples you choose will depend on your class; these examples are for you, as teachers:

practise
practice
forewards
illicit
judgement
judgment
supersede
accommodation
labor
precidence
enterprizing

Comparing answers will naturally result in discussion of alternative correct versions, e.g. noun/verb, American/British, etc.
