Game Cards: Going on Holiday

Students love playing games in their free time, be it video, mobile or tabletop games, but numerous studies have also shown the importance and positive impact games can have on learning. Story Telling: My last vacation

• Hand out five cards and give them a few minutes to think about their last (or their favourite) holiday.
• They should come up with a few facts about their trip, but also make up or invent others, but they must always use the cards they have.
• Students listening to the story can call out anything that sounds unusual or untrue. 
• The storyteller “comes clean” and tells their classmate which parts of the story were “true”.
