Listening skills

Check out our Listening skills section for access to over 200 listening resources, including our series of mini-plays on British culture, authentic interviews in our 'Live from ...' series, original drama with the onestopenglish soap opera, The Road Less Travelled and a selection of serialized Macmillan Readers at all levels.

Young learners

Interactive games and videos for children, as well as Carol Read's Amazing worlds projects, a collection of Experiments from the Science Museum, our young learner phonics series, Onestop Phonics and our Selections series of stories and poems for children - over 1,000 resources to choose from!

Teenagers

CLIL

Onestopclil offers a whole world of resources for primary and secondary learners. Check out Carol Read’s Amazing world of animals and Experiments from the Science Museum to entertain younger children. Skills

Culture

Grammar and vocabulary

Grammar activities may not be the obvious choice for summer schools and short courses but they certainly don’t have to be boring! Our Fun withgrammar series can enliven any class. While the Macmillan Dictionary BuzzWord lesson plans will thrill those with a love of learning 21st century words.

News lessons

Our popular news lessons, produced in collaboration with the Guardian Weekly, are published at three levels, weekly for Staff Room members and monthly for free. The lessons cover a wide range of topics relating to current news stories and make for lively discussion with your classes. They are perfect to download and go for that last-minute lesson.

Teaching with minimal resources

Monday morning? No coursebooks? Broken photocopier? Your favourite onestopenglish writers have come to the rescue with a section which is jam-packed with tips and ideas for teaching English with minimal or no resources.
