Hi there sunflower

How about "A day in the Life" by Beatles. It's full of verbs in Past Tense. You can either find it on youtube or on www.jango.com
I am not sure if it fits to your students' age, but I think it all depends on the way you... "sell it"

Good luck!

How about "And then He Kissed me" or Da Do Ron Ron Ron? ..I've used both and as they have a romantic theme should appeal to teenagers.

You could pull out some of the lines of Billie Jean by Michael Jackson (People always told me/ She caused a scene/ Every head turned)

I'd also suggest a Beatles song, 'Yesterday'.
