BuzzWord worksheets on onestopenglish
If you’re bewildered by the latest lingo in the media, don’t worry – help is at hand! The weekly BuzzWord on www.macmillandictionary.com may not be a word you’ll find in any dictionary, and it’s not always a brand new term either – it may be a new way of using an existing word (toxic), or a new way of putting a few words together (lipstick on a pig). Whatever the reason for its present popularity, the BuzzWord is a word that is current and in sudden or increasing use – it might not stay around forever, but it’s worth knowing what it means and how people are using it today.
