  • Hello Everyone,

Like me, you may have noticed the link for The Good wife clip is no longer available.
Here is a replacement I found:

  • Hi, like the lesson and wanted to use it in class today but the Good Wife clip is not longer available on YouTube.
Good Wife is now on Netflix so it would be great if you could include the series/episode/timing or replace the clip
    Thank you

  • UPDATE: We have now updated this lesson so that a clip from the TV series Luther is used instead with alternative questions.

I hope this goes down well in the class!

  • Hi caropick,

Thank you very much for pointing that out and we're very sorry the link is no longer available! I'm going to find a replacement clip and questions to try and get the worksheet updated by the end of today. I hope that will help you in time.

If you do need to use the lesson before the end of today, it looks like it's only that one exercise that is dependent on the YouTube clip so the rest of the lesson should be fine.

  • Hi Tinker,

That's a real shame! Do you have a smart phone? I ask because there is a way you can use the internet data from your smart phone to power a laptop meaning you might be able to play the clips.

Also it's worth mentioning that a lot of the activities in this lesson can be done without watching the video clips, or you could get your students to watch them at home and do the associated exercises as homework/prep work. That would leave a nice chunk of your lesson available for communicative activities.
