  • Hi, Thank you for this reading comprehension exercise. I tried the Upper Intermediate graded version with my Upper Intermediate/advanced level students. On the whole they enjoyed it, but found Ex. 4 Understanding the Article, where they were required to fill the gaps, rather disconcerting. I felt the exercise served, in the main, to confuse/muddle & diminish students' understanding of the new vocabulary, particularly where the statements were "false". Happy to hear views to the contrary.

  • Hi Alex,

Thanks for your feedback. Do you have Adobe Reader on your computer? This is needed to view the PDF lesson plan files with the teacher's notes and worksheets. If you do have this and you still cannot access this lesson, could you provide a bit more detail of what appears when you try to click on the lesson files under Related resources?

    Many thanks,
    The onestopenglish team
