  • Hi Jacqui,

We're sorry to hear that. I think some of our navigation is a bit confusing and doesn't quite reflect the content that we have. It's something that we hope to work on, as you can imagine it doesn't do anyone any good if they can't find our resources!

For low-level listening resources I have found the following that I think might be useful (just copy and paste the links into your browser):

    For the very beginner learners:

For low level business learners (first lesson doesn't have audio but I think the rest do):

    Audio serialized readers ast beginner/elem:

    For pronunciation:

    For young learners:

A couple of Elem listenings on this page:

I hope some of that helps.

  • Dear OnestopEnglish.

I have tried to look for listening materials for starter/ elementary students and one came up under the topic based search and now two came up here. That is a total of 3 Listening worksheets for starter. Am I looking in the wrong place? If you have so few listening tracks for starter/elementary I would say the comment above is correct and your website may in fact not be worth the subscription. This is a paid service and as such the content should reflect that.

  • Hi Oceanus,

Thanks for your feedback. There are over 9000 resources available on the site though, so perhaps you are just not sure how to navigate the site correctly.

We have resources for young learners, teens, adults, business students, exam classes, methodology resources for teachers, a teachers' community page, separate grammar and skills sections, along with a dedicated CLIL section all accessible via the tabs at the top of the page.

We also have topical news lessons which are updated weekly as well as a number of series for young learners, adults, and business students on a variety of topics and on a variety of levels which are updated on a monthly basis. As a subscriber, you will receive a news letter informing you of upcoming events and various resources available in publishing and you can also see the new resources of the homepage under 'Latest Resources'

Why not take some time to have a look around the site? You can use the 'search' box to look for specific materials on grammar/vocabulary points or browse the various series and see what you can find for the students you teach.

    Best wishes,

    The onestopenglish team

  • Hi Nicha,
The 'Stories' worksheets have tapescripts at the bottom for the teacher to read aloud to the students, and so there are no audio files for these lessons. If you are looking for lesson plans with accompanying audio, you could try our beginner-level Readers, Northanger Abbey and Tom Sawyer, or our 'Live from...' listening series.
    I hope this helps.
    Best wishes,
    The onestopenglish team

  • The "Stories" material is based on listening but there are no listening files available - make it hard to contemplate using it.
