The CCN have announced a range of courses under the theme 'State-of-the-Art CLIL: Quality Criteria in CLIL Materials'. Courses will be held in in France, Finland, Italy and Spain. See attachment for a list of courses and contact details.
The CLIL Cascade Network is a networking and professional development tool for CLIL teachers worldwide created under the Key Activity 2 / Languages in the Lifelong Learning Programme of the European Commission. See attachment for an introductory guide, giving details on what it is, who it's for and how to get involved.
The Centrum Česká Kanada in South Bohemia, Czech Republic is holding two practical and interactive CLIL courses in August 09 on the culture of Ireland. Lesson contents to include: Irish history, geography, music, comedy and literature. See attachment for further information, including contact details.

The CLIL Cascade Network is piloting a course on CLIL Materials Production in Eichstätt, Germany, 1-4 April 2009. The course is organized by CCN, University of Jyväskylä (Finland) and Bayerisches Staatsministerium für Unterricht and Kultus in cooperation with the English Didactics Department of the Catholic University at Eichstaett (Germany). A Comenius in-service training course on CLIL will be held in Cyprus in May 2009. The course is suitable for teachers of English wanting to teach another subject and teachers of other subjects wanting to teach through CLIL.
The University of Education in Lower Austria has introduced a Master of Arts in CLIL. See attachment for a description of the course and contact information.
Spring 2009 sees the publication of a new electronic book on CLIL from the University of Maastricht. The focus of the book is on the practice of content and language integration in the higher education classroom setting.
