Who writes the onestopenglish materials?

Most of the materials are written by experienced ELT authors who were once teachers. Some come to us through competitions such as the Lesson Share, while others have worked on existing Macmillan titles. We have a number of authors who are regular contributors to the site. If you are interested to see who these authors are, please click here.

I would like to submit material to your site. How can I get my work published?

Enter our Lesson Share and Warmers competitions and you could be a onestopenglish author of the future! For further information about training for publishing, submitting proposals to ELT publishers and working in the industry go to the Publishing for Teachers page in the Careers section.

I would like to buy books from Macmillan Education. How can I do this?

Onestopenglish does not sell books directly: to search for any Macmillan Education book or CD-ROM title, please visit www.macmillanenglish.com. You will also find links to Macmillan products and services around the onestopenglish site, which will take you directly to more information on that particular product or service.

I would like to print out materials to use with my class. Can you grant me permission to do this?

Yes, you can print out materials to use directly with your class. Your students are allowed to take these materials home and keep them for their private use. However, we ask you not redistribute anything as part of a library, archive, intranet or similar service. Nor may you modify, reproduce, sell, lend, hire out or in any way commercially exploit any of the content. For further information, please read our terms and conditions.
