Number one for English language teachers

Vital signs and monitoring

Part five of a series of English-language worksheets for nurses. In this set of reading and listening activities, students learn about monitoring the body’s most basic functions.

Nurses play an important role in assessing and monitoring patients' vital signs. It is essential that nurses understand the vocabulary associated with the body's basic functions. These worksheets contain a number of activities that will help to deepen and test a student's comprehension of this topic.

Students will learn:

  • vocabulary and principles of vital signs and monitoring
  • to describe the factors associated with vital signs

  • I love these lessons but would have liked to have them in an elementary version also for my French nursing school students. Intermediate is just a step too far.

  • Hi Lyndax,
We've just tested this and it seems to be working fine at this end. It may be a browser issue, so I would suggest trying to open it with a different browser. If that doesn't work, please email help@macmillan.com and a member of our technical team will be happy to help.
    Best wishes,

  • Unfortunately, I am unable to print this lesson as it keeps coming out blank. Is anyone else experiencing this?
