Anecdote: Simon says

Type: Anecdote

Cecilia Vian shares a story about a very sweet misunderstanding.

I was playing a game of 'Simon Says...' with a class of eight-year-old children. They were all enjoying it very much but after a while I told them that the game was over and that we had to go on working. So I suggested opening the books. They all did it and started reading. It was then that I realized that one boy had not opened his book and he was looking at me with a very funny face. So I asked: "Bautista, why don't you open your book and read?". He replied: "Because you did not say Simon says so I think I've won the game!"
