  • Hi,
    This activity really needs to be supported with resources. In particular, asking students to write down what they are going to say at the fictional cocktail party is a task in itself. For this activity I would expect there to be ready made sentences for students to use. The focus on the lesson is reported speech not casual conversations or writing. Whilst the idea for the class is sound, it's nothing that I couldn't have found on any number of free sites.
