  • Hi TW,

Thanks for your comment and for sharing your ideas. Perhaps they could be used as extension activities for this lesson?

If you're looking for further resources on this topic, you could try our Business section. For example, our Business Top Trumps lesson 'Situations vacant' asks students to formulate interview questions and create CVs. This lesson can be found here: http://www.onestopenglish.com/business/business-top-trumps/lesson-4-situations-vacant/

You could also try the Business Spotlight lesson, Is it ever OK to lie in a job interview?, which should provide some good discussion opportunities. The full lesson plan can be found here: http://www.onestopenglish.com/business/business-spotlight/is-it-ever-ok-to-lie-in-a-job-interview/

    We hope this helps!

    Best wishes,
    The onestopenglish team

  • seems a bit like, 'here are some questions, ask them to each other'
why not get students to work on constructing questions or devising roles or ideal candidates?

  • Hi Matthew,

Thanks for pointing that out. We've updated the lesson plan but it's actually not the one on this page it's this one:

  • There is a spelling mistake on the Employer Card. "positon" instead of "position".
