How a Combined Heat and Power Plant Works

Students watch an animation which demonstrates how we can turn trees into steam!

According to Greenpeace, 'Combined Heat and Power Plants' (or 'CHP plants') can be as much as 95 per cent efficient, as compared with old-fashioned power plants. Students will understand how a CHP plant actually works in this animation with accompanying exercises.
