Animal masks

Your students will have lots of fun in this lesson by Hans Mol! Children practise following instructions and learn vocabulary for parts of the face and personality adjectives by making an animal mask.

Level: Elementary

Target age: 8-10

Time needed: 30 minutes

Objectives: To make a lion mask.

Vocabulary: face, eyes, cheeks, nose and head

Task nouns: whiskers, paper plate, string, pipe cleaner, glue, scissors, pencils, hole punch and elastic band

Verbs:
check, put, make, use, cut, glue, draw and punch

Materials: A copy of Worksheets 1-3 for each child.
